Teeth Replacement in Mumbai
Fixed Options For Replacing Missing Teeth:
1) Single Tooth Implants:
Single-tooth implants can be used in people who are missing one or more teeth.
2) Implant Supported Bridges:
An implant-supported bridge is similar to a regular dental bridge, but it is supported by implants and not by natural teeth.
3) Crowns And Bridges:
A lost tooth can be restored by artificial tooth and adjacent healthy teeth are taken as support bridging the gap in between the natural tooth with an artificial tooth. It’s a fixed unit there is no need to remove it for maintenance.
4) Fixed Dentures /Over Dentures:
Complete dentures can be stabilized by placement of implants in the jaw which can greatly increase stability, retention and ability to function. The denture is still removable but retained by retentive “heads” on the implant which seat into the denture. This is often considered a more economical way to restore function than full mouth rehabilitation with a greater number of implants and crowns and bridges.
REMOVABLE OPTIONS FOR REPLACING MISSING TEETH:
1) Removable Dentures
In case where replacing lost teeth is not possible with fixed prosthesis a removable denture can be used. There are different types of partial dentures available at Care 32 – Family Dental Care Centre.
2) Valplast / Flexible Dentures:
The new flexible thermoplastics have the advantage of aesthetics and flexibility. All partials are designed to be removable and should be removed nightly to contribute to a healthy oral environment.
3) Complete Dentures:
Complete dentures are dentures that replace both the upper and lower teeth. They are a treatment option for patients that have no teeth.
4) Full Mouth Rehabilitation:
If you are missing all of your teeth, an implant-supported full bridge or full denture can replace them. Dental implants will replace both your lost natural teeth and some of the roots. Dental implants provide several advantages over other teeth replacement options. In addition to looking and functioning like natural teeth, implant-supported full bridges or dentures are designed to be long lasting. Implant-supported full bridges and dentures also are more comfortable and stable than conventional dentures, allowing you to retain a more natural biting and chewing capacity.
